RT8525DGQW

The RT8525DGQW from Richtek is a current mode boost controller in 12 lead WDFN package. This is a wide input operating voltage range step up controller. High voltage output and large output current are feasible by using an external N-MOSFET. It is an optimized design for wide output voltage range applications. It is used in LCD TV, monitor display backlight, LED driver application, high current high output voltage DC/DC converters and high input voltage DC/DC converters.

• Programmable soft-start time and soft-start current of 5µA
• Programmable boost SW frequency from 50KHz to 600KHz
• Output over voltage protection
• Output under voltage protection
• Quiescent current of 1.3mA, shutdown current is 10 µA
• Switching frequency of 200KHz (typ), minimum on-time is 250ns (typ), 90% maximum duty
• Thermal shutdown hysteresis of 50°C
• Rise time of 6ns and fall time of 5ns
• Ambient temperature range from -40°C to 85°C
