MAX1292BCEG+

The MAX1292BCEG+ is a smallest, 4-channel, 12bit analogue to digital converter (ADC) with 2.5V reference and parallel interface in 24 pin QSOP package. This low power, parallel output ADC includes successive approximation ADC, automatic power-down, fast wake-up (2µs), on-chip clock, 2.5V internal reference and high speed byte wide parallel interface. Power consumption is only 10mW (VDD = VLOGIC) at 400Ksps maximum sampling rate. Two software-selectable power-down modes enable MAX1292 to be shut down between conversions by accessing parallel interface returns device to normal operation. It offers software configurable analogue inputs for unipolar/bipolar and single ended/pseudo-differential operation. Excellent dynamic performance and low power combined with ease of use and small package size make this converter ideal for battery powered and data acquisition applications or for other circuits with demanding power consumption and space requirements.

• Full linear bandwidth (SINAD <gt/> 68dB) of 350KHz and full power bandwidth (-3dB roll-off) of 6MHz
• ±0.5LSB linearity and maximum duty cycle of 70%
• 4-channel single ended/2-channel pseudo differential inputs
• Power supply rejection of ±0.3mV (VDD = +5V ±10%, full scale input)
• Low current of 2.5mA (400Ksps), 1mA (100Ksps), 400µA (10Ksps) and 2µA (shutdown mode)
• Internal 6MHz full power bandwidth track/hold
• ±1LSB differential nonlinearity (no missing codes over temperature) and ±1LSB relative accuracy
• Offset error of ±4LSB and gain error of ±4LSB
