The 25183 is a precision efficient and safe Fibre Optic Swab for cleaning fibre optic backplane bulkhead connections. Engineered to quickly and easily cleaning all 2.5mm connector end faces and alignment sleeves, this swab is made from proprietary micro porous foam that immediately absorbs oil and solvents from fibre surfaces. Adhesive and binder free, the 2.5mm precision fibre optic swab is manufactured under clean room standards. Wrapped foam swabs provides outstanding particle entrapment, captures contaminants from alignment sleeves and keeps them from being transferred to the back plane end face. Scientifically designed recessed head conforms to a connector face, with the right pressure for cleaning.
