Test probes are developed to meet electrical testing requirements in a variety of applications and provide a reliable means of testing bare or loaded circuitries where several contact points must be accessed. Depending on the metal inserts used, they are designed for cable connection by soldering or crimping. Crimping is the preferred type of connection, but it requires special tooling, so most customers buy probes ready assembled onto the cable.
